"The Confederation of African Football executive committee took the decision on 11 April to revoke (the position) of Amr Fahmy, the secretary general," said Nathalie Rabe, Caf's head of communications. "This was a decision taken by the executive committee and I don't know about the allegations," she told AFP. Egyptian Fahmy, 36, sent a letter to football's world governing body Fifa last month detailing accusations of corruption and charges of sexual harassment. Former Moroccan diplomat Mouad Hajji has been named as the new secretary general, according to Rabe.
