KUALA LUMPUR: DAP veteran Dr Tan Seng Giaw has urged the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government to stop politicising the investigation of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) if they are sincere in resolving the case. News portal MalaysiaGazette quoted Tan as saying any criminal wrongdoings behind the 1MDB’s losses could only be determined through thorough investigations, in accordance with the provisions of the law. One cannot make public statements, call for media conferences and put the blame on certain quarters during an investigation. “We should not call for media conference and disclose the assumed result of the investigation. An investigation and media conference is different,” he was quoted by MalaysiaGazette.
