Senegal is mulling plans to bid for the organization of the 2027 African Cup of Nations, Prime Minister of the West African country, Amadou Ba, said. “We will study in close collaboration with the FSF the specifications for the organization of the CAN 2027. Ba has also summed the role of Sports Minister after opposition member occupying the position stepped down last month. The country has in recent years improved its sports infrastructures and its team are the reigning champions of the AFCON. Africa’s football governing body CAF announced late last month that six countries have already submitted their bid to host the 2027 football champions.
