Regarding the proposal of Chancellor Kurz, we have to say that it is realistic to the extent that the European Union has no other alternative for the moment. So, to some extent yes, there’s a possibility from the European Union to finance further action like for instance to increase the human resources in Frontex. But there’s also a problem because there’s also a public outburst against this proposal by the European Commission and the French president. On the political level I do believe that most North African leaders will be willing to accept a generous offer by the European Union in terms of money. So, to answer your question, I think that it’s mostly a European issue and not that much an issue for North Africa.
