Senators are rushing to conclude the processing of at least 58 bills and 54 petitions in five months before the onset of the 2022 campaigns. Among the Bills, the House will consider are the Pandemic Response and Management Bill, 2021 that seeks to provide a framework for managing a pandemic. Other bills are the Vendors (Protection of Livelihood) Bill, 2021 that seeks to streamline hawking, Prompt Payment Bill, 2021 and Disaster Risk Management Bill, 2021. The National Cohesion and Peace Building Bill, 2021 that seeks to rename and empower the National Cohesion and Integration Commission has also been republished. Others are County Oversight and Accountability Bill, 2021, the Lifestyle Audit Bill, 2021, Office of the County Printer Bill, 2021, Health (Amendment) Bill, 2021 and County Hall of Fame Bill, 2021.
