Senators Reach Deal on Gun Safety MeasuresWhile the gun reforms are not as great or vast as hoped by many, including United States President Joe Biden, a group of senators have reached a bipartisan deal on a package of safety and gun-related measures that could potentially prevent more school shootings in the future. The agreement is supported by at least 20 senators, including 10 Republicans. The men were arrested for conspiring to riot and are scheduled to be arraigned in court Monday. Previously, there was more than 700 hours required, which was the same basically peace officer training as law enforcement officials or security officers who carry firearms on campuses.
