Senator Lesuuda forced to end radio interview by rowdy youth

PHOTO | DAILY NATIONSamburu Nominated Senator Naisula Lesuuda’s interview by a local radio station ended in disarray on Friday night after rowdy youth stormed the station. The senator was forced to cut short the interview after the youths, believed to be the supporters of her opponent, threatened to burn down the station. Senator Lesuuda later went to Samburu Central Police Station in Maralal and recorded a statement with the Criminal investigation division. During the incident one of her bodyguards was nearly shot by the rowdy youths.
