Bomet Senator Christopher Andrew Langat has replaced Nairobi's Johnson Sakaja in the Ad-hoc Committee on Covid-19 Situation in Kenya. Majority Whip Irungu Kangata on Tuesday issued a notice of motion for approval of Langat' appointment as the chairman. "The I's have it," Senate speaker Ken Lusaka said after a majority approved the nomination. Last week, Sakaja officially tendered his resignation as chairman of the Senate Ad hoc committee on Covid-19." I hereby tender my resignation as the chairman and a member of the senate Ad hoc committee on Covid-19," Sakaja said in a letter to Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka.
