Senator Boni Khalwale had earlier led demonstrations against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in Kakamega town. But Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe maintained that the law must be followed in ejecting IEBC commissioners from office. Khalwale said picketing is allowed by the law and dismissed Starehe MP Maina Kamanda who has threatened to go to court over the ongoing demos. However, using anarchy may lead to destruction of this nation," said Wangwe.
