Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd on Wednesday pressed for an inquiry into the water crisis. “The proposed EO aims to address the fragmentation in the water sector by providing the framework for an integrated and coordinated effort in planning and implementing the programs and projects to address all issues in the water sector,” he said. 20 hoursManila Water said under its revised water scheme, the water service interruption would last up to 20 hours a day in certain parts of Metro Manila and neighboring provinces. In its advisory, it noted that customers would experience 6 to 20 hours of water service interruption for the next three months or until the rainy season sets in.
