Senate panel recommends lifestyle check, further probe into 18 persons tagged in P11-B shabu messBy The Manila Timeshome/News/Latest Stories/Today's Breaking News/Senate panel recommends lifestyle check, further probe into 18 persons tagged in P11-B shabu messTHE Senate blue ribbon committee on Monday released a copy to the Manila Times of its 46-page report recommending a lifestyle check and further investigation into 18 individuals implicated in the illegal shipment of P11-billion worth of “shabu” that was uncovered in August. Signed by 14 of the 20 committee members, including ex-officio and its chairman, the report would be transmitted to the plenary for deliberation in January. The committee chaired by Senator Richard Gordon recommended that those implicated individuals be further investigated by the Department of Justice, the Office of the Ombudsman and other concerned government agencies for administrative and/or criminal liabilities. These individuals listed include former PNP Senior Supt. JAVIER JOE ISMAEL
