The Senate on Monday passed on final reading six bills that seeks to convert Land Transportation Office extension offices into regular licensing centers. The measures would provide for the conversion of the LTO extension offices in San Pablo, Laguna, Balayan, Batangas, Malabon, Batangas City, Muntinlupa City and Kawit, Cavite. “Converting LTO extension offices into regular LTO district offices would, in effect, mean faster processing of transactions, and hopefully, shorter queues,” Senator Grace Poe, sponsor of the bills, said in a statement. ADVERTISEMENTPoe said the proposed measure would allow the said offices to increase their capacity. We must ensure that these frontline offices of the LTO can actually implement the law that we passed,” Poe said.
