Senate building on restricted access, not lockdown – Sotto

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate building is on restricted access, not a lockdown, Senate President Vicente Sotto III said Thursday. In a message to reporters, Sotto said he already issued a directive to the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms to place the building under restrictive access. ADVERTISEMENT“The Senate is now RESTRICTED ACCESS not lockdown as the term lockdown has been misinterpreted and abused,” Sotto said. Access to the Senate building will remain restricted until the “disinfection is 100 (percent),” the Senate president noted. GSGFor more news about the novel coronavirus click here.
