ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee on Interior Tuesday strongly condemned the ongoing Indian aggression across the Line of Control (LoC), and the United States’ (US) move to place Pakistan on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) watch list of countries funding terrorism. The committee, which met here at the Parliament House with Senator Rehman Malik in the chair, unanimously adopted two resolutions in this regard. The resolution moved by Rehman Malik read, “The Senate Standing Committee on Interior condemns the move by certain member states of FATF to place Pakistan on the body’s watch-list. Speaking on the bill, Rehman Malik said that the said bill was highly important and he would seek extension from the house. The Miscarriage of Justice Compensation Bill 2017 and three other bills moved by Senator Muhammad Azam Khan Swati were withdrawn.
