According to an internal letter issued by the Secretariat of the Senate currently serving for the NLA, the NLA president Pornpetch Wichitcholchai calls for the meeting to be held at 11 am with an agenda to be forwarded from the Cabinet on the day. The special meeting followed Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha’s remarks last week that the NLA would hold such special meeting after the Cabinet’s session. Pornpetch also said earlier that the government suggested that the NLA hold a special meeting but the Cabinet has not yet informed the assembly what it could be about.
