Monrovia – The Senate’s Committees on Health chaired by Senator Dr. (MD) Peter Coleman has recommended the confirmation of the controversial Health Minister-designate, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah. Since Dr. Jallah’s nomination as Health Minister-designate, there have been mixed reactions from the public. Some called on the Senate to reject her nomination, while others peacefully gathered to show their support for her confirmation. Days after her nomination as Health Minister-designate, a family claimed that she’s culpable for the death of their relative. Larry Fahnbulleh, widower of the late Pastor Desiree Fahnbulleh, urged President George Manneh Weah to withdraw Dr. Jallah’s appointment.
