Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has taken the final plunge into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, announcing in her home state Saturday that she is running for president. Ms. Warren on Dec. 31 launched an exploratory committee, becoming the first top-tier Democratic contender to test the waters for a presidential campaign. There was little doubt she would take the next step, though, and the announcement Saturday is largely symbolic.
