The university's Department of Public Health organized the seminar sponsored by Incepta Vaccine Limited Company, on Friday. Prof Dr Nawzia Yasmin, dean, School of Health Sciences and head of the Department of Public Health, in her welcome speech, emphasized on prevention, efficacy of vaccination, and raising awareness among the community about the disease. Dr Shams Tasnuva, senior executive, medical services under the marketing strategy department of Incepta Pharmaceuticals, delivered the keynote presentation on origin, causes, symptoms, vaccination, and prevention of Rubella. Lt Col Dr Syed Hassan Md Abdullah, Dr Natasha Khurshid, Nuhad Raisa Seoty, Iffat Tasnim Haque and Dr. Nazmur Rahman Sajib, along with students of the public health program participated in the seminar.
