Canterbury and Auckland have topped their divisions at the men's interprovincial tournament and will play Northland and Wellington in the semifinals on Friday morning at Clearwater Golf Club in Christchurch. Auckland completed a perfect six-from-six record on Thursday with wins over Northland, 4-1, and Hawke's Bay, 3-2, to top division two. Canterbury last won the tournament in 2000 and will be eyeing an end to their drought on home turf. Semifinals: Canterbury v Northland, Auckland v Wellington.
