MIRI: The Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in southern Sarawak has won the Malaysia Tourism Council gold award for "Best Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Malaysia". The award was presented Friday (Oct 25) night in Kuala Lumpur during the council's annual national award ceremony. SFC manages the Semenggoh centre that is located 20kms in the outskirts of Kuching. "This national award is a recognition of the centre as a model of excellence in areas of wildlife conservation and rehabilitation. The Semenggoh centre measures the combined size of 1,613 football fields.
