People who are trained to explain the insurance products and the benefits of buying insurance are the agents and of later vintage, the brokers. Insurance companies give extensive training on insurance products and selling them. I am confident, however, that the insurance companies will continue to be creative and innovative to assist their producers. The IIAP has now rolled out an online examination for those who would like to become life insurance agents. We note that the successful insurance agents and financial advisors nowadays are the millennials since they grew up in the computer age.
