In June 2022, my partner and I were scheduled to fly from London to Athens with Wizz Air. Despite engaging in lengthy communication with Wizz Air, they refused to reimburse our expenses. Wizz Air has since paid the £700 compensation; however, they continue to refuse payment for the remaining amount. The Wizz Air executives assured us of their commitment to rectifying these matters and stated that your case was a mistake which would be promptly addressed and compensated. They advised passengers to book directly with the airline, be it Wizz Air or any other airline, to avoid such issues.
