PETALING JAYA: Seek help from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and CyberSecurity Malaysia to stop drug traffickers operating online, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye. The Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation senior vice-chairman said the National Anti-Drugs Agency should seek the commission’s expertise. “The agency should hold discussions with MCMC and seek the help of CyberSecurity to address this issue. “This is a serious concern because drug pushers are using new technology. Lee was commenting on a report in The Star that traffickers were taking their business online and hiring students as drug pushers.
