Festive music and mini fir trees set the scene for the big red truck whose seasonal appearance in the Coca Cola Christmas adverts over the years has made it a famous sight. When darkness falls, and the truck is illuminated, there will be projections on side of the truck. “People love seeing their face on the side of the Coca Cola truck,” said event manager Elliot Nortey. After Asda, the truck will drive on to Tesco Extra at Newcastle on Wednesday.
