WikipediaBihar police have decided to recommend the closure of the sedition case lodged in Muzaffarpur against nine eminent personalities and said they would prosecute the complainant for his “false” allegations. “The case was supervised by Muzaffarpur SSP Manoj Kumar. Forty-five unidentified people have also been mentioned as defendants in the case, registered on a plea from local advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha. The police will recommend Ojha’s prosecution under penal code sections which carry a maximum punishment of seven years in jail. Deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said his party had nothing to do with the case.
