IG wants foolproof measures taken to ensure that Prince Karim Aga Khan’s visit goes smoothlyKARACHI: During a meeting presided over by Sindh Inspector-General of Police Allah Dino Khawaja at the Central Police Office on Thursday, the police chief discussed the security measures in place for the visit of Prince Karim Aga Khan. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the police department, including the additional IG of the Special Branch, zonal DIGs and the Special Branch SSP. IG Khawaja ordered the police department to ensure protection of the life and property of all citizens as per the security plan. He also directed the department to strictly adhere to the contingency plan developed for high-profile citizens such as the Aga Khan, ensuring foolproof security at every level. CM wants the Aga Khan to visit Karachi every yearDirections have been issued to the city’s traffic DIG to take effective measures for the smooth flow of traffic across the city, especially during peak hours.
