Law enforcers have also enhanced surveillance at vital installations identified in their respective districts and brought key areas under security cover. The function venues where the Independence Day celebrations would be organised by the respective district administration have also been brought under security cover. Security has also been enhanced at Tiruchi railway junction and at the international airport.
