Bandobust has been provided to the offices of the MLAs representing Tiruchi East and Srirangam assembly constituencies. An officer in the rank of Inspector has been nominated to head the security teams keeping round-the-clock vigil at the offices and residences of the two Ministers. Security has also been provided to the residence of Agriculture Minister R. Duraikannu, representing Papanasam assembly constituency in Thanjavur district. Police personnel have also been deployed at the offices and residences of Perambalur MLA Ilambai Tamizhchelvan and Kunnam MLA R.T. Ramachandran, sources said.
