Bhubaneswar, Jan. 25: The state capital has been wrapped in a blanket of security after police finalised elaborate security arrangements for Republic Day celebrations at Mahatma Gandhi Marg ahead of tomorrow's parade. Apart from regular checks, the police have imposed traffic restrictions for the parade at different intersections across the city. Apart from the deployment of police personnel across the city, the cops will also have an eye on citizens' movement through closed-circuit television cameras. There are plans to post around eight platoons of police at various entry and exit points of the city. There is a complete ban on entry of vehicles to Mahatma Gandhi Marg during the Republic Day parade.
