Armed police were investigating a suspicious package at Heathrow's Terminal 2 this afternoon has sparked fears of delays. Officers stopped large crowds entering a security screening area after disruption began at the London airport at around 1.30pm. One passenger tweeted that the were 'police dogs everywhere' and another wrote: 'Incident at Heathrow Airport right now. The incident has since been resolved and the security lanes are now open again - but concerned customers have tweeted about potential delays. The security lanes have now reopened and the airport is not yet aware of any delays caused by the incident.
