Secretary of Monaghan Ógra Fianna Fáil resigns in protest at ‘female members being compared and ranked over Zoom calls’

THE secretary of Monaghan Ógra Fianna Fáil has resigned after female members were compared and ranked in a number of Zoom calls. Mr Kawonczyk claimed there was “organised political harassment” at work which was affecting the long-term viability of the party youth group. “We cannot let a few bully boys shape the future of the party.”Fianna Fail headquarters said in response today: "Ogra Fianna Fáil is a large and integral part of the Fianna Fáil organisation. "The Party always stresses the importance of dignity and respect between all Ógra Party members and on social media and within the party. Party sources meanwhile indicate that Mr Kawonczyk was invited to make a formal complaint about the Zoom affair, but has not yet done so.
