KUALA LUMPUR: A local chain restaurant has taken disciplinary action against the staff who came under fire for leaving a derogatory note on a customer's receipt. In a statement, Secret Recipe said it viewed the incident seriously and that the matter has been handled and concluded in accordance with the industry's regulations. "We took immediate action to contact the parties involved and have taken disciplinary action towards the staff. "We sincerely and profusely apologise to the concerned parties for this unfortunate situation," said the restaurant in a statement uploaded on its social media page today. He only heard from the restaurant three days ago after uploading his original post to the restaurant's social media page.
