A 24-year-old man is currently before the courts facing charges over the incident in which a police car was stolen and used to ram a second patrol car on August 14. Southern District Commander Superintendent Paul Basham said today the second gun would be forensically examined as part of their ongoing inquiry. Police have not yet said where the pistol was found.
