Second man charged in Vaughan café explosion

York Region police have charged a second man for an early morning bombing that blew the wall out of a Vaughan café last summer. Spencer Isenor, 29, of Durham region, appeared briefly in Newmarket bail court via video on Tuesday, facing multiple charges relating to a blast that demolished the exterior cement wall of Caffé Corretto on Winges Rd., near Highway 7 and Weston Rd. Isenor was already in custody in Durham on separate charges when he was charged in mid-October with arson, break and enter, fail to comply with bail conditions and multiple weapons charges relating to the café blast. He is scheduled to appear again in bail court in Newmarket on Nov. 14. The Caffé Corretto explosion on June 29 was called suspicious by police at the time.
