Second level teachers to protest at Offaly schools on TuesdaySecond-level teachers are to protest outside Offaly schools on Tuesday, November 19, over Senior Cycle concerns, it has emerged. The teachers will hold a lunchtime protest outside their schools to highlight their calls for a delay in the implementation of Senior Cycle redevelopment. The protest, which is taking place nationwide, is being organised by second-level teacher unions the ASTI and the TUI. Upwards of 30,000 second-level teachers all over the country will participate in the protest. Teacher unions say that service to students will not be affected.
