Photo: FileA young driver led police on a pursuit in Christchurch late last night before crashing their vehicle. The pursuit - which lasted just a few seconds - was initiated by police about 11.45pm on Thursday in Sockburn. It was the second pursuit in less than a week to end with the fleeing driver crashing. The young driver has been referred to Youth Aid. On Sunday morning, an early morning police pursuit from Hillsborough to Opawa led to a fleeing motorist crashing their vehicle into another car.
