Six other TPLF officials were captured along with Sebhat Nega. He was captured in an operation that the Ethiopian Defense Force conducted on Friday. The Ethiopian Defense Force captured Sebhat Nega in the wilderness of Tekeze, Zinjero cliff, a place that is said to be hard to access, it was said. The Ethiopian Defense Force also announced that it had captured six other TPLF officers : Colonel Atsedu Riche, Colonel Knife Tadese, Colonel Yemane Kahsay, Ato Asgede Gebrekirstos, Ato Amdemariam Tessema and Commander Berhe Girma. The Ethiopian government did not say as to when captured TPLF leaders including Sebhat Nega will appear in court – something that would also confirm to their followers that they are indeed captured.
