Now that the pandemic emergency is officially over, companies want employees back in the office. But, professor Joe Barnes from Seattle University’s Albers Business School said employers need to rethink their position. “I think businesses need to look at more than just people being in the office,” Barnes said. Also, some would argue it’s easier to leave work behind at the end of the day while working in an office. Some people need to be around other people, the casual conversations, bumping into each other and talking to each other.
