(Source: KCSO) KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A search is underway for a missing child in Elgin, according to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators are looking for a missing non-verbal autistic 6-year-old boy. Mallard has tan skin, brown hair, brown eyes, and does not wear glasses. Authorities say Mallard was last seen in the wooded area behind 846 Barfield Rd in Elgin close to the intersection of Sessions Rd. According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, Mallard will not respond to adults, if he hears an adult hollering his name he will probably walk away from the adult.
