(Stock image)A diver missing off Canterbury's Banks Peninsula has been named. Seddon Ralph Jane, 42, of Wairoa, was reported missing and a search was launched about 10am. He is assumed drowned after a five-hour search failed to find any sign of him, but the National Police Dive Squad will continue the search on Sunday morning. In a statement, police said their dive squad would start the "recovery phase" of the search for the missing diver on Sunday morning.
