Police were notified at 7.35pm that a male had gone missing in Pinders Pond, near Roxburgh. By 9.30pm, divers from a local search and rescue team were carrying out a surface search and the Police Dive Squad would arrive in the area on Saturday. The search would be suspended overnight and resume on Saturday.
