The search engine has added a new feature on its Chrome 66 which it launched yesterday. The Mac version mutes the video by default while the mobile and desktop versions have added security measures such as a passwords export option, security improvements, and extra developer features. On the issue of security, Chrome no longer issue Symantec certificates due to the company’s failure to comply with the new DigiCert Certification Authority. Meanwhile, The Verge reports that Microsoft has also announced that it will be including its Windows Defender antivirus called the Windows Defender Browser Protection to Chrome 66. Although Google has its own defence, this will serve as an extra cautionary attachment for users who choose to have it.
