CALGARY – The Calgary Flames apparently have these guys figured out. The Minnesota Wild are perched atop the NHL’s Western Conference standings, but the Flames completed their regular-season sweep of that surging squad with Wednesday’s 5-1 triumph at the Saddledome. Monahan soon doubled the lead on the man-advantage, cleaning up the leftovers after Wild stalwart Devan Dubnyk denied Gaudreau’s redirect. Despite a couple of extended slumps, the 22-year-old Monahan is tops among Flames with 18 goals, four more than any of his teammates. The Flames now pack their bags for a three-game sojourn, starting with Friday’s date with the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center.
