MANILA, Philippines — Olivarez College clashes with Technological Institute of the Philippines today, looking for a fourth straight win even as Centro Escolar U looks to chalk up another victory against winless St. Joseph College in the Universities and Colleges Basketball League Season 3 at the Olivarez College gym in Parañaque. Unbeaten in three starts, the Olivarez Sea Lions face the TIP Engineers at 2 p.m. with the hosts expecting a tougher challenge from the latter who have won two of their first three games. The CEU Scorpions, on the other hand, are expected to nail their third win in row after an opening game setback as they take on the St. Joseph College of Bulacan side that has dropped its first three games. The Scorpions are also coming into their match against the SJC cagers brimming with confidence following an 83-57 thumping of the Engineers. Backing the tournament are CaféFrance, Yakult, Gerry’s Grill, Hapee Toothpaste, MaxSell Power Tool and Tough Mama Home and Kitchen Appliances, Tanduay Athletics and Toyota Motor Philippines.
