LAHORE: A scuffle marred Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ‘Eiman, Ittihad and Tanzeem’ convention held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Sunday to celebrate the birthday of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Aiwan-e-Iqbal’s hall was full of PTI workers, and they were answering to the slogans like Pakistan Zindabad, Imran Khan Zindabad, Shah Mehmood Mard-e-Haq, Chaudhry Sarwar Zindabad and etc. However, since no slogans were chanted for Aleem Khan by the organizers, which enraged latter’s supporters, making them chant in his favour. When Shah Mehmood Qureshi came on the stage to address the convention, the two groups started to fight, resulting in injury to one worker. A large number of PTI workers from all over Pakistan participated in the convention in which national songs were sung to pay tribute to the Quaid.
