On Thursday night, a fight broke out between the inmates of Tihar jail in which 11 prisoners were injured. Earlier in January, Gangster Vinayak Korbatkar was killed at Sada sub-jail in Goa​ when he tried to escape along with 48 other prisoners. A jailor, two security guards and nine other inmates ​were injured in the incident. Further details awaited
