Police have cordoned off a section of Norwich St in Christchurch after a stabbing. Neighbours heard screams and yelling in the aftermath of the early-morning attack that left a woman fighting for her life. Police were called to Norwich St in Linwood just before 5am on Thursday. St John said the injured woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where she was still fighting for life on Thursday afternoon.
