BJP national chief Amit Shah has asked farmers associated with the party to scratch the face of Congress leaders if they question Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agricultural policies. “The Prime Minister announced increased minimum support price for certain crops. Earlier in Lucknow, addressing a meeting of members of cooperative societies from across the country, Shah said there was great potential for agriculture in Uttar Pradesh because of its rivers. But it is very high in Uttar Pradesh because you have the Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari and the Gomti,” he said. The Godavari doesn’t pass through Uttar Pradesh.
