For all of Ghana’s security agencies, there is a minimum height requirement and persons who fall short of it are not recruited. For the Ghana Immigration Service, for instance, the minimum height is 1.73 metres (5ft 8inch) for Males and 1.63 metres (5ft 4inch) for Females.
