An award-winning Lochaber strongman has added to his accolades after competing in the recent West Coast Static Scottish Championships in Ayrshire, writes Iain Ferguson. Stuart Whyte, who owns the Iron Therapy Gym in Corpach and has taken part in events across the world, picked up several Scottish Masters records across various classes. Participating in the 125kg Log Press, 250kg Deadlift and 160kg Atlas Stone, Stuart achieved record lifts and personal bests in the Atlas Stone and Log Press. Competing against a field of 16 athletes from across Scotland, Stuart was delighted with his performance. I was carrying a couple going into this one so was really happy at taking these records and beating my personal bests from over many years.
